[BACK STORY] :: Adelaide lived with her big sister, Lucie, and her Dragonite in a house on the coast of Lilycove City, secluded from town by a now Pokémon-less forest. Lucie got the Dragonite at a very young age from her grandfather, their house’s original owner and a great scientist, who devoted his life to coming up with new ways to heal, evolve, and create Pokémon. After her father, a Pokémon Ranger, and her mother, a Pokémon Breeder, died in a boat accident trying to help some stranded water Pokémon, Adelaide and Lucie were sent to live with him and stayed there ever since, enjoying themselves there. However, all of his ideas were rejected and he was forced into retirement, dying shortly after from depression and a broken heart. Adelaide was only ten at the time, and greatly looked up to her grandfather as a role model. She was unsure of what she wanted to do until she found a strange device in her father’s belongings that was tracking a Mew. She kept the tracker from Lucie, and in addition to locating just Mew it helped her find a Pokémon egg that had somehow landed in the forest. Lucie forbade Adelaide from keeping it because she did not want Adelaide to get too close to Pokémon and have a similar fate as her grandfather and parents. However, Adelaide secretly kept the egg, and it one day cracked open, revealing a Furret. When Lucie discovered the Furret, she screamed at Adelaide, telling her she was never allowed to leave the house again. Adelaide then took Brisket, the tracker, and her favorite teal-blue bag and fled, running away from home and into the world, determined to capture Pokémon in every region and soon become strong enough to be the first trainer ever to capture a Mew.

Skitty--Poppy ♀
Poppy has the same personality as Adelaide. She's always determined to win a battle even if she's weaker than her opponent. She is usually more open to making friends than her trainer.

Milotic--Fleur ♀
Fleur is very reserved and elegant, however her obsessive need to protect Adelaide causes her to get extremely defensive and come out of her Pokeball at will.

Masquerain--Arielle ♀
Arielle is very sweet, however is afraid of heights. She doesn't like to fly too far off the ground.

Chimecho--Marion ♀
Marion is fun-loving and kind of braindead, thus she usually just floats around whenever she's outside her Pokeball and not training or battling.

Wailord--Humphrey♂
Humphrey likes to eat. He only comes out of his Pokeball during a battle or when there's water around. He acts as a personal boat to Adelaide.

Skaloth--Maynard♂
Maynard does absolutely nothing. He never listens to Adelaide because he's always sleeping. The only reason he even managed to get to Level 14 is because of the Exp. Share item he holds. Adelaide hates him but her stubborn nature won't let her give him up.
