Annabel grew up in the Mushroom Kingdom with her parents and sister Isabel. They were just your regular family, except Isabel was freaking gorgeous. She was tall, smart, and talented while Annabel sat in her shadow all chubby and airheaded. Annabel was pretty much forgotten since Isabel was so amazing, and all she ever wanted was to get away and have a place where people accepted her and her snacks. The only place she felt welcomed was at her huge garden, where she spent most of her time tending to her flowers and eating food. When she grew up, she went on an extreme diet and studied. Now, she was average height, skinny, and, best of all, pretty. Isabel was incredibly jealous so she tricked Annabel into getting into a space ship and sent her to a distant unknown galaxy. Annabel landed on a bare galaxy that was actually kind of ugly, so she decided to plant some seeds she always kept in her pocket. The plants sprouted almost immediately, but they were giant food-versions of different plants! There were donuts growing on trees and cupcakes where birds of paradise should be. Not only that, but some of the food actually became people! Annabel gave up her diet and decided to go back to her fatty ways and build her own galaxy, the Cupcake Galaxy, since cupcakes were her favorite. Now, Annabel is known as Princess Annabel, and she rules the land of dessert plants, food people, and sugar insects. (Annabel keeps the sugar butterflies as pets.) Annabel often visits her friends Rosalina in her galaxy and Peach in the Mushroom Kingdom. Annabel also goes back to the MK to see Toad, her one true love.
