my melody final chapter part 1

Eve: Wow! Look at this one! It's so pretty!!
Eve and Ree are at a dress store, and Eve is going crazy. Ree is in the dressing room.
Eve: Whoa! This one's even better! No, wait, this one! No, I like this one!
Ree: Just pick one already!
Ree emerges in a red satin dress with sleeves that fall gently off her shoulders and gathers in huge bunches at the bottom.
Ree: How's this?
Eve: Whoa! That's so pretty! Can I try it?
Ree: No! You already have a bunch of dresses!
Ree looks in front of a mirror.
Ree: By the way, you should probably try those on before buying anything.
Eve: Kay!
Eve goes into the dressing room, and after a while throws the dresses at Ree.
Ree: So…you don't like them?
Eve: They make me look fat!!
Ree sighs and turns around, bumping into a mannequin. The mannequin is wearing a short, light pink strapless dress that has roses gathering at the bottom of the dress.
Ree: Eve! Look at this one!
Eve: Wow! It's so pretty! Lemme try it on!
Eve dashes to the dressing room and comes out wearing the dress.
Ree: …wow.
Eve: Do I look good?
Ree: Besides your Elmo socks, yeah.
Eve: Hey!!!
Eve and Ree buy the dresses but continue to shop within the mall. After getting Starbucks, they get on an escalator to the third floor.
Ree: It's crazy to think that the end of school is only a few weeks away.
Eve: I know! I always thought I'd be graduating with Ciel at my side!
Ree: Ciel only got suspended, right? He should be back soon.
Eve: What?! I didn't even think about that! What'll he think when he sees me with Jace?!
Ree: Well, he broke up with you. He probably won't care.
Eve: I hope so…
Ree takes a huge gulp of coffee, and Eve kind of sulks.
Ree: Do you care?
Eve: What?! Of course not! I don't care at all that Ciel is going to see me with Jace!
Ree: Are you sure?
Eve: Totally!
Ree: Okay…hottie at 3:00.
Eve doesn't respond.
Ree: Wow, you usually love looking at random hot guys we don't know.
Eve: I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ANYMORE!!
The day of the prom, Jo runs up to Eve after school.
Jo: Hi!
Eve: Hi, Jo.
Jo: Can you help me decorate the hotel for prom? All my friends ditched before we finished.
Eve: Okay. I have nothing better to do anyway. What area are we working in?
Jo: The ball room. It's where the main prom is going to be, but it's huge so nobody wanted to decorate it.
Eve: Cool! Ree's gonna be there, right?
Jo: Yeah, of course.
Eve: Let's go then!
Eve, Ree, and Jo, decorate the entire ball room, and it looks amazing. Ree, however, is exhausted, and falls on the floor.
Ree: I think my legs are going to fall off.
Eve: Get up, lazy! We still have to put some streamers on!
Ree: I don't want to!
Jo: If you don't get up, I won't go to the prom with you.
Ree: Dude, I can get a new boyfriend in two seconds, and you know it.
Jo: Just get off your bum and help us!
Eve: Bum…?
Ree: Hey, I'm gonna go to the snack room.
Eve: There's a snack room?
Jo: Let's go!!
They all head to the snack room, and Eve accidentally leaves her backpack in the ballroom. Suddenly, Eve's phone rings in her pocket.
Eve: Oh, my grandma's here to pick me up.
Ree: You're so lucky you have a hot grandma. She looks like she's in her 30's!! My grandma is all old and wrinkly and just sits in a rocking chair all day and gives me weird foreign candy that tastes like shit.
Jo: Bye, Eve!
Eve: See ya!
Eve leaves the hotel, completely forgetting about her backpack and the microphone inside it.
